Hybrid System
Transfluid has provided two HM6300-150 for a twin shaft line jet propelled patrol boat to be operated in the South Korean seas. Two 75kW (100kW peak) permanent magnet synchronous motors were installed on each Hybrid Module and each one powered by a group of 288V-400Ah-LiFePO4 batteries and equipped with an RMS remote monitoring system. This is the first hybrid system created by Transfluid that operates on a water jet propulsion, equipped with its own control logic. In this regard, a close synergy has been created between our system and the command of the hydrojet, which differs considerably from a normal propeller propulsion, as the direction reversal, the approach maneuvers and the come-home command. Being a boat managed by the Korean State, it was then necessary to pass the strict approval checks of KOMSA, the local State Authority responsible for the safety of maritime transport, although all the products supplied by us already enjoy a Type Approval issued by the DNV Naval Register. The systems have already been mounted on board and commissioning will soon be carried out for final commissioning.
It’s easy to use and maneuverability that allows with a simple operation to switch from Diesel mode to electric mode and vice versa, guaranteeing a significant reduction in emissions and total respect for the environment.
Transfluid has always been a point of reference in the industrial and marine transmission and components sector. The use of modern technology together with the careful choice of materials, accurate assembly and the meticulous testing of each unit produced has contributed to helping us develop extremely competitive and innovative products. Our talent, dynamic approach and flair are the creative heart of a company that is focused on introducing products that continually satisfy a fast changing market’s needs.
Transfluid boasts countless applications of its hybrid and electric propulsion in the marine and industrial sector.
