Hatz Great Britain was founded in 1979, taking over from Hatz Concessionaires, a privately owned Dealership. From modest beginnings, the marketing campaign was based on the unique Silent Pack range of engines and sales have expanded in the UK market to the point where Hatz enjoy the Lion's share of the Industrial Air-Cooled Diesel engine market.

The success generated by the Silent Pack range of engines which specialise in environmentally friendly features such as exceptionally quiet noise levels and ultra clean exhaust emission levels, has enabled Hatz to introduce other new innovative engine models.
