Gearboxes and Rope Winches

Liebherr’s product spectrum in the planetary gearbox and rope winch sector ranges from slewing and swivelling drives to wheel and travel drives, compact, heavy duty and gear ring rope winches and drilling drives, cyclone drives and other special solutions. The drives are continuously optimised using advanced development and calculation processes. Extensive testing facilities and an in-house materials laboratory form the basis for ongoing development.

Electric Machines

Slewing bearings

Liebherr manufactures customer and application specific slewing bearings ball and roller bearing slewing rings. Depending on the requirements, various sizes and designs are available.

Common Rail Systems

The innovative Common Rail Systems from Liebherr work reliably and guarantee a high level of efficiency of the engine with low fuel consumption. As a result, they enable compliance with the increasingly stricter emissions standards for diesel engines.

Hydraulic Pumps and Motors

The durable axial piston pumps and motors from Liebherr feature a swashplate design. Thanks to the tough nature for high pressure ranges and optimised degrees of efficiency, they are suitable for use in a range of applications.

Remanufacturing

Economic solutions for machines of all ages are the aim of the Liebherr Reman Program. Used drive train components are made as good as new through remanufacturing – with a relevant warranty. With exchange components, general overhaul and repair, there are three harmonised remanufacturing levels to choose from.

Combustion Engines

For decades Liebherr has been developing and manufacturing robust combustion engines for diverse applications. As a result of this experience we understand the application-specific needs of our customers and are able to address these needs. Liebherr manufactures many key components in-house, for example injection system or engine control. Based on this high vertical integration, the engines impress with their unique modularity.
