Blue.on Heavy Duty
Spin-on filters are used in numerous applications and with each filter change, the entire filter unit is completely replaced. Only the filter element would have to be replaced. However, the housing with the other functions is also disposed of and generates million of tons of waste every year and thus an enormous environmental impact. In many cases, recycling does not take place due to the large number of materials used. Even worse, the spin-ons must be disposed of as hazardous waste because of the residual fluids that remain in a spin-on.
Our answer to this environmental pollution is the sustainable filtration concept Blue.on HD. This concept consists of three components: A plastic cap, a filter element, and the valve adapter. The adapter can be easily applied to the existing spin-on interface. And it works for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, agricultural and construction machinery as well as for marine applications.
With the tool-free change, only the exhausted filter element is disposed of - the rest remains on the vehicle and that means 90% less waste!
The cover is composed of a high-strength plastic. In the adapter, the engine-proof filter bypass valve ensures consistent filtration performance over the entire engine life. This eliminates damage caused by insufficient or even missing valves. And the risk of contamination of the engine circuit by hard particles is also 20 times lower with the Hengst Blue.on HD.
